President
William R. Deuchar is President and Chief Executive Officer of U.S. Pacific, Inc.
Mr. Deuchar is responsible for establishing goals, developing policies and programs, and directing the operations and growth of the company while maintaining its high standard of professionalism and building excellence. Beginning as a field engineer, Mr. Deuchar progressed steadily to positions of increased responsibility.
He has extensive experience in the construction of many large residential and commercial projects, including condominiums, hotels, and office buildings. In the majority of this work, his involvement began in the preliminary design phases and continued through planning, estimating, contract negotiation, on-site project management and contract completion. In addition to his construction experience, Mr. Deuchar also supervised the construction management consulting contract for the $365 million Hyatt Regency Waikoloa Resort, on the Island of Hawaii.
Mr. Deuchar involves himself personally in all construction operations on a day to day basis.
A graduate of Oregon State University, Mr. Deuchar holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering.
Vice President
Hugh H. Brown is Vice President for U.S. Pacific, Inc.
Mr Brown has a broad range of experience gained through involvement on a variety of projects - domestic and international - including hotels, office buildings, shopping centers, condominiums, parking structures and industrial buildings. Dollar values on these projects have ranged from $5 million to $100’s of million. His involvement has been as Estimator and Contracts Manager as well as on-site Project Engineer and Project Manager. Mr. Brown is currently involved in Pre-construction and Operations.
Mr Brown holds the Ordinary National Certificate in Mechanical Engineering and his experience as a State Judiciary and American Arbitration Association mediator is very valuable in smoothing out possible conflicts before they become a problem.

Edward D. Deuchar is Vice President for U.S. Pacific, Inc.

Mr Deuchar’s project experience showcases a depth of knowledge and expertise tailored for the Hawaiian market and environmental conditions. From concrete restoration projects of modern and historical structures - to completely new build industrial, hotel/resorts, residential, retail, and parking facilities – Mr Deuchar applies sound principals to get job done and within budget.

His work can be seen on four of the main Hawaiian Islands as well as in California and Texas – valued from $150k up to $73 million - which includes private, as well as State and Federal projects. Ed has managed teams of up to 625 people on the job. He has over 30 years of experience in the construction field.
Mr Deuchar has a Law Degree as well as a BS in Economics.
